This is nothing like a Riesling you had before. Andreas, our friend and winemaker at Odinstal trialled a small parcel of terraces on the foothills of the Palatine forest. The vineyard is neither sprayed nor pruned creating a forest type eco system. The wine experienced extended skin-contact and since the yield were microscopically small Andreas decided to blend 2018, 2019 and 2020 together for this wine.

If you like the orange wines of Tom Lubbe of Matassa you will be intrigued by this Riesling.

The Odinstal Estate was established back in 1802 by the Mayor of Wachenheim who was on the hunt for a unique plot of land to plant a special vineyard.
