It might seem simple, but we know that behind every great bottle of wine is a dedicated winemaker (or team of winemakers!) and we make it our first priority to get to know the “who” before the “what” of a wine. Once we understand and feel aligned with a winemaker’s farming philosophies and winemaking styles, we thoughtfully taste the lineup. We are lucky to have the opportunity to taste hundreds of wines a month and feel proud knowing that our selection consists of wines that are well-made, expressive, and most importantly, delicious!
The short answer to this question is yes. We strongly feel that the way forward for the wine industry is to farm organically, biodynamically, or adhering to other natural farming methods such as regenerative agriculture. At the same time, we know that chaotic weather patterns can wreak havoc, and we trust that the winemakers we feature will always make the correct choice. We also understand that a farmer might have undertaken the road to organic conversion, and if that's the case, we want to support them. We're not here to be dogmatic, but inclusive.
“Natural wine” is a bit of a complicated term these days but we work hard to ensure that all our wine is low intervention and farmed organically at minimum. That means the growers are farming without the use of herbicides, pesticides and other chemicals in the vineyards, and working without added sugars, commercial yeast, chemical manipulators or excess sulphur in their cellars.

Our online selection may differ from our in-person shop selection as both are dynamic and ever-changing. However, both selections follow the same wine buying philosophies and overall vibe.
Of course! We currently offer pick-up from our online warehouse located at 18 Ashwine St, London E8 3DL.
Simply choose the pick-up option at checkout and all orders are usually ready for pick-up the same or following day (you will be notified as soon as the order is ready).
We are on-site Mon-Fri, but if you prefer picking up your order on the weekend, let us know beforehand and we will have your order ready for you at Newcomer Wines Dalston!
No, we unfortunately do not offer delivery to locations outside of the United Kingdom. In an effort to minimise our carbon footprint, we believe it is best to keep the wines that are shipped to us in the UK within the UK.
At this time, we offer free shipping exclusively on orders over £99. For orders under £99, the shipping cost will be a flat rate of £10.50.
While we always aim to process orders as quickly as possible, and in most cases the wines arrive within 24 hours of order via an Express24 service, please allow up to 2 working days from time of order for delivery.
Orders placed MON-THU will be dispatched the following day.
Orders placed FRI-SUN will be processed on Monday, for delivery on Tuesday.
Yes, our parcels are fully trackable as soon as they leave our warehouse. Once the shipping label is made, we will send the tracking details via email. If you are having trouble finding your tracking info, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
