Kitchen Takeover — Joe Couldridge
About the Event:
Our first kitchen takeover for 2026 is here! Welcoming Joe Couldridge, to take over the Valentine's weekend at the Newcomer Wines bar.
Expect dishes such as Vol-au-vent, baked scallop and three-cornered leek Farfalle (as well as a delicious chocolate dessert)!
It’s the perfect weekend to treat your partner, treat a friend or pull up to the bar and treat yourself!
Meet the Chef:
Now residing in Marseille cooking at Ernest, we welcome him back to London for a short stint during the French off season.
Before Joe moved to France his spent his time honing his skills cooking across some of London’s most iconic kitchens. From the late Leroy to Hawksmoor to The Clarence Tavern before most recently running the show as head chef for two years at The Prince Arthur.
Joe will be manning the pans, cooking with a nose-to-tail approached sending out dishes rooted in classic French and Italian technique, inspired by flavours he’s gathered through his journey as a chef.
