Meet Brocard Pierre | Thibaud
It's been almost 6 years since we first heard about the young and never-resting Thibaud Brocard who comes from a legacy of Champagne growers in the village of Celles-sur-Ource in the Côte des Bar. Since 2012 Thibault is leading the change within the estate with one of his first decisions back then to change the vineyards to organic practices.
Thibaud isn't exactly a dogmatist which to him means adopting biodynamic methods that work and rather than following a rule book.'In my eyes, understanding and taking care of my vineyard is the biggest part of my job as a vigneron. My way to work the vineyard and the wines is simple.
Thibault is not shy to share his failures and learnings from his early years and despite being a grower in one of the world's most celebrated region he knows that there is much to improve and much to learn in the years to come. He is also a curious explorer of regions beyond the traditional French regions — a merit he shares with a bright generation in all of Europe today.
