L’Arbre aux Abeilles

Tranquille 2023

Fun fact – did you know that the meaning of 'honeymoon' goes back to medieval times, when wedding guests would gift newlyweds enough mead to last a month (measured by one moon cycle), as drinking enough of it was thought to help the newlyweds in the bedroom department? We make no such claims here – but if that's piqued your curiosity, read on...

Inspired by the mead that ancient beekeepers made for themselves, the Tranquille 2023 is produced just like L’Arbre aux Abeilles' other cuvée, Bulles D'Été 2023, with the only difference being the location of the bees' hives. Hives for the Tranquille are located in the forrest next to the honey farm, where bees are left to live quietly all year round, only producing the honey that they would naturally in the wild and with their honey only being collected once a year.

Dry, savoury and a touch of wildness, while still retaining the classic notes of lemon, honey and wildflowers.
