Selves 2021

The 2021 cuvée of Selves from Nicolas Carmarans comes from old-vine Chenin Blanc planted on limestone and clay soils in Cahors. Made with minimal intervention and native yeast fermentation, the wine captures the purity and minerality of the site. Bright citrus, green apple, and hints of white flowers unfold with fine, racy acidity and a subtle mineral touch. Gentle weight and a smooth texture carry through to a long, precise finish. Delicate layers of honeyed fruit and soft orchard notes emerge, adding depth without heaviness.
