Jutta Ambrositsch

Revision 2017

A wine that behaves like "a 68 year old smiling flâneur, who drinks Assam tea and loves pear tarts with whipped cream. They wear a chequered tweed jacket, are born and raised at the foot of the Wiener Reisenberg, and though they've seen it all, they still have a lot left to do. A truly wonderful Veltliner that smells of tea, foliage, shiitake and lemon pickle, which decided to spend the last decades of its life as a humble table wine", according to Jutta and Marco.

As Jutta has chosen not to adhere to DAC rules and regulations, she can't put the name of the vineyard on the bottle due to wine politics. Regardless, this comes from a very special site – the Reisenberg. It is organically farmed 50+-year-old Grüner Veltliner, planted on slate and gneiss.

The wine fermented naturally, and was bottled unfined and unfiltered.
