Christian Tschida
Non-Tradition Weiss 2017
Another electrifying wine from Christian Tschida! This is 100% Grüner Veltliner, coming from 70 year old vines planted on pure limestone. Half of the grapes were macerated on the skins for one year and the other half was directly pressed and aged in large oak, before being aged for at least two years. All this lends itself to a fantastically complex wine with fresh stone fruit, flinty minerality and a bit of nutty, umami structure on the finish.
