Fun fact – did you know that the meaning of 'honeymoon' goes back to medieval times, when wedding guests would gift newlyweds enough mead to last a month (measured by one moon cycle), as drinking enough of it was thought to help the newlyweds in the bedroom department? We make no such claims here – but if that's piqued your curiosity, read on...
Inspired by the mead that ancient beekeepers made for themselves, the Bulles D'Été 2023 is made exclusively with spring water from the mountain next to the honey factory, and honey from bees that are kept and raised as close as possible to their wild life in the scrubland. The bees are left to live quietly all year round, only producing the honey that they would naturally in the wild and with their honey only being collected once a year.
Incredibly dry with notes of lemon, honeycomb, and a minty botanical edge – perfect as an aperitif to be enjoyed in the sun, or paired with cheese (or shared with a special someone...).
