Trossen

Schieferleicht 2022

Off-dry with a touch of residual sugar that gives the wine a sumptuous round quality, along with a green apple quality, reminiscent of cloudy apple juice. This is first and foremost, though, a terroir-driven wine, with pertinent notes of slate and a touch of campfire smoke, like the kind that lingers on your clothes after a bonfire. Enjoy this with a goats cheese salad on a sunny day and transport yourself to the rolling green hills of the Mosel valley.
