Renner&sistas

Waiting for Tom Red 2018

A wine that is an ode to the kind of red wine you would expect from Stefanie's mentors, Tom Lubbe in the Roussillon or Tom Shobbrook in the Barossa Valley. For this cuvée, they always pick barrels that develop a light but intense direction - every year that could mean a different blend of grapes and vineyards but always with that signature energy.

Named as a humorous nod to Stefanie's mentors, Tom Lubbe and Tom Shobbrook, this is a blend of biodynamically farmed Blaufränkisch, St. Laurent and Pinot Noir from the Renners' vineyards near Lake Neusiedl in the Burgenland.

The wine was fermented naturally with a gentle maceration, with a percentage of whole bunches, and aged in old oak barrels. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
