Kitchen Takeover — Tasca
About the Event:
KITCHEN TAKEOVER — TASCA
Orders up! We’re gassed to announce that next weekend, Josh and Sinead from Tasca are taking over the Newcomer Wines kitchen.
On the spring-inspired menu: crab French Toast, white asparagus, and red tuna crudo alongside hearty Tasca favourites like the Rojáo pork sandwich and the deeply flavorful Cornish Mussel & chorizo rice.
Josh has been cooking for 15 years, with early formative time under Sebastian Myers at Sager & Wilde and a Head Chef role at Silver Lining before going nomadic with residencies at hot spots like 107, Bar Bruno, Giaccos, Half Cut Market, and the Gallifet Arts Centre in Aix-en-Provence.
In 2024, Sinead Murdoch (ex-Bistro Freddie GM, now at Stable Wines) and Josh launched Tasca together, building something with a clear and confident identity of its own.
Inspired by their time spent across the South of France, Spain, and Portugal, the food blends classical French technique with a penchant for fermentation, curing, and whole-animal butchery.
