Gasthaus Waltz — Fried Chicken & Champagne
About the Event:
We are stoked to announce that our friends Markus Hirschler and Stefan Grabler from the legendary Gasthaus Waltz in Munich are heading to London next month to take over Newcomer Wines kitchen from Thursday 5th March to Saturday 7th March.
Over the past few years the two have been shaking up the Munich restaurant scene staying true to their roots and serving authentic Austrian Wirtshaus classics with a wine list that features old school classics alongside the hottest new names Europe has to offer.
This collaboration has been in the works for a long time so we are thrilled to welcome them alongside their head chef serving their signature Austrian aka Styrian Fried Chicken.
It wouldn’t be a perfect pairing without Champagne so we will have available a selection of our favourite bottles of bubbles from the likes of Timothée Stroebel, Thomas Perseval, Legrand-Latour and many more within the Newcomer portfolio and fellow importers to make this a truly festive party.
Bookings are live now though we will also keep some space for walk-ins on the bar on the day.
