TLZ Karmin No.13

TLZ Karmin No.13 is a wine that really shows off the Styrian energy. Strohmeier has an undeniable love for the land and farms with that in mind. This iron-rich soils are biodynamicaly farmed and carry a distinctive energy. This cuvée, made from Blauer Wildbacher, is handled with a gentle and low intervention approach.

A short period of skin contact is followed be fermentation with native yeasts before resting in old oak barrels. This builds texture but keeps the fruit vibrant. This delight of a wine is packed with wild strawberry and a tart red berry note, tangled with a smokey minerality and lively acidity. A light spritz and fine tannic grip give this wine energy and lift leading to an expressive finish.
