Amphibolit 2019

Alwin & Stefanie Jurtschitsch

Amphibolit is a precise and deeply textured white wine from old mixed plantings rooted in the crystalline amphibolite soils of Kamptal. It is built on structure rather than overt fruit, with a firm, linear palate driven by vibrant acidity and a subtle grip. Layers of citrus, orchard fruit, and faint herbal notes are entwined with a striking stony, almost smoky mineral core. The finish is long and highly focused, giving the wine a sense of clarity, depth and intensity.
