Selvadolce

This is an extra special skin-contact. No seriously. It's one of those bottles that make such an impression that you can easily recall the first time you ever tasted it. Vermentino macerated on the skins and then aged in barriques for 22 months. The grapes come from a small plot planted in 1975 on the Ligurian coast. And when you taste this wine, that's where you go. Dried apricots, wild herbs and a light sprinkle of crunchy sea salt flakes.

About Selvadolce

We first came across the wines from Selvadolce, a small biodynamic farm in Bordighera on the coast of Liguria, in 2013 at a tasting in Champagne, and have been fans of the work of Aris Blancardi ever since.
