Jacquère 2022
This is a pure expression of Jacquère grown on clay‑limestone soils in the foothills of the French Alps in the Savoie region. Matthieu Goury works organically and with minimal intervention, pressing whole bunches and fermenting on indigenous yeasts before aging gently in neutral barrels for extended texture and complexity. The palate is lively and light, with a taut mineral thread and bright acidity that carries juicy green apple and citrus through to the finish. There’s a refreshing energy and clean, alpine clarity that makes each sip feel crisp and vibrant.
