Chardonnay 2022

This is a vibrant Chardonnay from organically farmed vines planted on clay‑limestone soils in the foothills of the French Alps in the Savoie region, where cool mountain breezes and bright sun help give the grape both freshness and ripeness. Matthieu Goury works with minimal intervention, letting the varietal purity and site expression develop naturally with gentle aging before release. The wine balances bright acidity with a rich, textured core of ripe orchard fruit and a hint of stone, carrying through to a long, clean finish. The overall impression is one of structure and energy, with just enough weight to feel complete but not heavy.
