Weissburgunder Wiese 2022

This cuvée is made up of Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc) grown biodynamically on steep, red slate and opok‑rich parcels in the Steiermark of Austria, where the soils lend both minerality and energy to the fruit. With minimal intervention in the cellar — whole‑cluster foot‑stomping, cold maceration, and wild fermentation with no added sulphur — the wine expresses its vineyard character with authenticity. On the palate, bright fruit and subtle saline tension with a lively texture that feels both fresh and grounded. The finish is clean and sustained, reflecting the vineyard’s mineral drive and the wine’s natural, unfiltered presence.
