Maluseaux 2021

Maluseaux is an expressive Gamay from old vines grown on clay‑silt soils in the Loire Valley around Noizay in Vouvray, where limestone‑rich tuffeau gives the fruit vibrancy and freshness. Alexandre farms biodynamically and tends his vineyards with horses, and this Gamay is vinified with minimal intervention to let the site speak clearly. The palate unfolds with juicy red‑berry and raspberry fruit, framed by supple tannins and lively acidity, giving the wine a bright, energetic structure. There’s a hint of herbal nuance and fine mineral tension that carries through to a clean, focused finish.
