L'Effrontée 2021

Gastrein's L'Effrontée is a wine that encapsualets why we are exciting about the Rhône-based Vigneron. A precise blend of Viognier, Marsanne, Roussanne, and a small dose of of Cugnette, this wine is made with low-intervention techniques and really captures the vibrant energy of the southern Rhône terroir. Stone fruit, citrus peel, and subtle floral notes unfold with bright freshness and a silky texture. A soft mineral undertone carries through to a long, precise finish, reflecting the character of the hillside vines.
