Werlitsch
Dreigenerationenwein 2021
A wine that spans the legacy of 3 generations of the Tscheppe family. Vines planted by the grandfather, nurtured by Andreas Sen. Tscheppe and brought to full potential by Ewald who calls this very old field blend a personal favourite year after year. Contrary to most of his Sauvignon and Chardonnay blends this hosts a set of varieties including old-vines of the native Styrian grape Welschriesling.
Situated in the steep Styrian hills a few minutes away from the border with Slovenia. The vineyards are some of the oldest in the family, grown on the signature limestone-rich Opok soils.
