Pierre Ménard makes precise and refined wines in the Loire. The slopes of the Coteaux du Layon are schist-rich, and Cosmos is an excellent expression of Chenin in sweet form. There's a classic balance of richness and acidity that is captured in this cuvée with beautiful harmony. Crafter with late harvest grapes, the wine builds layers of honeyed fruit, dried apricot and a gentle spice. Despite its natural sweetness, a bright line of acidity keeps the palate lifted and vibrant. A balanced sweet wine that feels both generous and precise, with plenty of life ahead.
