For many years, we've kept aside special bottles that we believe show the magic of time, place and personality at their best when given the time they deserve. In a way lines between what is classic — what is a natural — what is a truly great wine — it all transforms over time and it is that excitement that we feel these wines will show in the wines we chose.

The Founders' Membership is also a possibility to connect directly with our co-founder Peter who personally selects wines from our cellar — in many cases wines that were never released  from our winemakers ever before

When we started Newcomer Wines back in 2014, we never imagined the impact working with so many incredible restaurants would have to our journey.

Without them Newcomer Wines would have stayed a student project while finishing our undergraduate studies. Over time these places became more than just restaurant partners — many of them became friends.

With the Founders' Evenings, we are introducing a series of dinner events with the idea to combine great food from some of our favourite chefs — where we share special bottles and most importantly memorable evenings full of stories of winemakers, the wines they make and great food.

A deep dive into the world of our winemakers, their vineyards and the food and culture that surrounds them. Standing in front of a steep cliff, surrounded by nature, drinking the wines in the very same place they were made is perhaps the most complete and long-lasting way to learn about wine.

To hear growers speak about their land, digging out stones and soil that directly translate to their wines and later sharing old vintages or sharing a meal in their favourite place next door to their house are things that have always stayed with us and we feel that this will give our members a unique perspective on world of wine today.
