Since Thorsten's return to the family estate in the 1990s, he made the decision to push outside the 'classic' interpretation and experiment with making Riesling without a single drop of sulphur. Drinking the 'Vade Retro' reminds us of tea and herbs, with notes of baking spice and an underlying oxidation. What a wine, what a statement.
