This wine comes from 45 year old Gewurtztraminer vines. Fermented on the skins like a red wine, it has a beautiful dark amber colour and a tannic texture with hints of spices and stewed fruit notes. A distinctive and unique wine.
The Tramin Antika is fermented and aged on the skins for 3 months. No pressing occurs, just the free run juice is aged in 225 litre oak barrels and the wine is bottled without any fining or filtration.
